1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when and how customers can request a refund for paid W3Speedster digital products and services purchased on w3speedster.com. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and any plan-specific checkout terms shown at purchase.
2. 15-day money-back guarantee
We stand behind W3Speedster. We do not offer a free trial of the plugin. If the product does not meet your expectations, you may request a refund within 15 days of the original purchase date.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 15 days of purchase. After 15 days, refunds cannot be processed.
- The same 15-day window applies to product upgrades and annual renewals counted from that upgrade or renewal payment date.
- We process approved refunds as soon as we are able. In some cases we may first ask for a short opportunity to resolve a technical issue for you.
3. Eligibility
A purchase is generally eligible for a refund when all of the following are true:
- You bought a paid W3Speedster license, subscription, or related digital product on w3speedster.com
- Your written refund request is received within 15 days of that payment
- You can identify the order (order ID, purchase email, or payment receipt)
- The request is not excluded under the non-refundable items or abuse rules below
4. Information we collect for a refund request
To verify and process a refund, we may collect and use:
- Your name and contact email
- Order ID, purchase date, product/plan name, and payment method reference
- Site URL(s) where the product was installed (if relevant to troubleshooting)
- A short description of why you are requesting the refund and any error details you share
We use this information only to identify the transaction, attempt a fair resolution where appropriate, approve or decline the request under this policy, and keep an internal record of the outcome.
5. Purpose of processing refund data
Refund-related information is processed to:
- Validate purchase authenticity and eligibility
- Prevent duplicate, fraudulent, or abusive refund claims
- Issue the refund through the original payment channel when approved
- Improve product support quality when a technical issue triggered the request
6. Legal basis / contractual basis
Processing refund requests is necessary to perform our contract with you (the purchase and this Refund Policy), to comply with applicable consumer and payment rules where they apply, and to pursue our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and resolving disputes fairly.
7. How to request a refund
- Go to our Contact Us page (or email the address listed there).
- Use the subject line Refund request.
- Include your purchase email, order ID or receipt, product/plan name, and a brief reason for the request.
- If you want help instead of a refund first, say so — we can attempt a fix within the 15-day window.
Submitting a purchase means you agree to this Refund Policy.
8. Sharing of refund information
We may share limited refund details with:
- Payment processors / gateways (to execute or reverse the charge)
- Internal support and finance staff handling the request
- Professional advisors or authorities when legally required
We do not sell refund-request data. Third parties that process payments act as processors under their own terms and security controls.
9. Refund method and timing
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when the processor allows it.
- After we approve a refund, bank or card statement timing is usually several business days and depends on your provider.
- Once a refund is completed, the related license, downloads, and support entitlement for that purchase may be revoked.
10. Retention of refund records
We retain refund request records (order identifiers, decision, and correspondence) for as long as needed to complete the transaction, meet accounting/tax obligations, and handle chargebacks or disputes — typically up to the period required by applicable financial recordkeeping rules, then delete or anonymize when no longer needed.
11. Non-refundable situations
Unless required by law, refunds are not available when:
- The 15-day window has expired
- The request cannot be matched to a valid paid order
- The product was obtained unlawfully, via chargeback abuse, or through shared/unauthorized license use
- You refuse to provide basic order verification needed to confirm the purchase
- A prior refund was already issued for the same order
12. Your rights regarding refund request data
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data you sent for a refund inquiry, and you may object to or ask us to restrict certain processing where the law allows. To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact Us page. These rights do not automatically create a refund entitlement outside this policy.
13. Cookies, analytics, forms, and payments on this site
This Refund Policy covers paid purchases. For internal consistency with how w3speedster.com actually operates, the technologies below are involved when you browse, inquire, buy, or request a refund:
Cookies and consent
- We use a GDPR cookie-consent tool (Moove GDPR Cookie Compliance). Your choice is stored in a cookie such as
moove_gdpr_popup.
- Essential cookies support login, cart/checkout, and security. Optional analytics/marketing cookies load only after consent where required.
- WooCommerce may set session and cart cookies so checkout and order history work correctly when you purchase or request a refund.
Analytics and advertising tags
- Google Tag Manager (
GTM-MJKF4HJ9) loads measurement and marketing tags.
- Google Ads / conversion tagging (for example gtag ID
AW-16818944559) may record purchase and remarketing events subject to your cookie choices.
- Social sharing tools (including Facebook-related share widgets) may set third-party cookies if you interact with share features.
These tags do not decide refund eligibility, but they may record that a purchase or conversion occurred. Refund processing itself relies on order and payment records, not advertising cookies.
Forms
- Contact and support requests use Contact Form 7 forms (including the Contact Us page used for refund requests).
- Some forms may sync enquiry details to our CRM (Zoho via a CF7 integration) so support can follow up on refund and product questions.
- Newsletter/subscribe forms may collect your email separately from checkout; those subscriptions are not a purchase and are outside the 15-day product refund window unless required by law.
Payment processors and checkout
- Paid products are sold through WooCommerce on w3speedster.com.
- Enabled payment methods include Stripe (credit/debit cards) and PayPal.
- When a refund is approved, we instruct the same processor that collected the payment to return funds to the original method whenever the processor allows it.
- Payment providers process card/PayPal details under their own terms; W3Speedster receives order confirmation, amount, and payment reference needed for accounting and refunds — not full card PANs from Stripe/PayPal hosted fields.
- PDF invoices/packing documents may be generated for orders; keep your invoice or order email to speed up refund verification.
- Affiliate tracking (YITH WooCommerce Affiliates) may attribute referrals to partners; a refund can reverse related commission records.
If you want a fuller privacy notice covering cookies and analytics beyond refunds, see our Terms & Privacy page and the on-site cookie settings panel.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The Last updated date at the top of the page shows when the current version became applicable. Continued purchases after an update are subject to the revised policy.
